On 18 November 2009, the Pearcey Foundation, ACS Victoria Branch together with the Melbourne Museum, will celebrate the 60th anniversary of CSIRAC. It will commemorate:
Paul Gampe was presented the 2009 Queensland Pearcey Award as young entrepreneur of the year, at a gala dinner ceremony in Brisbane. Paul has demonstrated outstanding leadership in ICT since graduating in 1991 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
The 60th Anniversary Celebration of CSIRAC was wheld at the Melbourne Museum, Nicholson St., Carlton, Victoria, Australia on Wednesday 18th November 2009.
The 2009 NSW ICT Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Ian Gardner, founder of online video and digital media specialist Viocorp.
12th November 2009 – Sydney. The 2009 NSW Pearcey ICT Entrepreneur of the Year award was held at NSW Parliament this evening and was awarded to Ian Gardner, founder of online video and digital media specialist Viocorp by the Hon Ian MacDonald MLC, Minister for State Development, Primary Industries and Mineral Resources.
The 2009 ACT State Pearcey Award was presented to Mr Michael McGoogan on Wednesday 16th September 2009 in Canberra at the Canberra Business Events Centre, Regatta Point. The award was presented by Mr Jon Stanhope MLA, Chief Minister for the ACT during the Business in Focus Month and jointly sponsored with the Australian Computer Society, ACT Branch.
