This year, the Pearcey National Awards and the Queensland ICT Entrepreneur Award will be held at a Gala Dinner in sunny Queensland.

This marks only the second time Queensland has hosted the National Awards.  

On this must-attend evening in the ICT industry calendar, the recipients of the following prestigious awards will be announced: 

• Queensland ICT Entrepreneur Award 
• National Pearcey Entrepreneur Award
• Hall of Fame Inductees
• The coveted Pearcey Medal

In addition, this year’s event coincides with the 75^th anniversary of a major milestone in Australian ICT history: the first code run on CSIRAC, the first Australian digital computers (4^th in the entire world!). To mark this historic achievement and honour the pioneering contributions of Dr. Trevor Pearcey to the Australian ICT landscape, we are honoured to welcome Emeritus Professor Roy Green AM, Special Innovation Advisor at UTS and CSIRO Board member, as our keynote speaker. Professor Green’s father, the foundation professor of maths and physics at the University of Adelaide, was one of the earliest users of CSIRAC.

Tickets include pre-dinner canapes, a 3 course meal and drinks (wine, beer and soft drinks).

Early Bird ticket: $175 –  until 18 October 

Standard ticket: $199 – from 19 October

Cancellation Policy

• Any cancellations prior to 5pm on Monday 11 November 2024 are fully refundable.
• Any cancellations after 5pm on Monday 11 November are generally not refundable, however you may nominate another person to attend in your place. Please note that while we will try our best to accommodate any requests for special dietary requirements, this is at the discretion of the venue after this date.
• Any requests for cancellations and name changes must be given in writing to 2024nationalgala@pearcey.org.au
