This year’s event celebrates the 75th anniversary of a major milestone in Australian ICT history: the first code run on CSIRAC, the first Australian digital computer.
To honour this achievement and the pioneering contributions of Dr. Trevor Pearcey, we are excited to welcome Emeritus Professor Roy Green AM as our keynote speaker.
Professor Green’s father was one of the earliest users of CSIRAC.

At the 2023 ACT Pearcey Round Table, the Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, challenged the Pearcey Foundation Members and Friends to research ideas that would immediately assist the progress towards Net Zero Emissions in the ACT. This year the ACT Chapter of the Pearcey Foundation will elevate its annual dinner with a brief presentation on the heritage of IT in Canberra. The dinner will commence with the Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, presenting the 2024 ACT Chief Minister's Pearcey Entrepreneur Award.
