Vale Brian Finn AO - 1937-2023
One of Australia’s outstanding ICT pioneers, Brian Finn passed this week.
Brian resided on the Gold Coast with his wife. He was perhaps best known for his leadership at IBM – he worked for IBM for over 35 years starting in the UK, US, India and his last 18 years at IBM Australia.
Brian was awarded an AO in 1990 for services to Business, Industry and Education. He was elevated to the Pearcey Hall of Fame in 2010. Full details are available here.
