Dr Bob Kahn Visits Melbourne
The Father of the Internet, Dr Robert Kahn, accompanied by his wife, was in Melbourne as the guest of the Australian Digital Commerce Association. Visiting from Washington DC, he spoke at a luncheon on Wednesday 14th March 2018 at the Melbourne Town Hall.
Organised by data61's Dr Tim Wark, Dr Kahn delivered a primer on "Trusting Digital Entities" delving in to the depths of Digital Objects Architecture. Thanks to data61 for organising an event where one of the heroes of the global ICT industry was able to visit Australia and talk of his continuing contribution.
Two Pearcey National Committee members were delighted to have met Dr Kahn on his his first visit to Australia.
