In 2016, the Pearcey Foundation had many events and recognised a wide variety of ICT entrepreneurs and industry contributors, including the 2016 Pearcey National Awards, 2016 Pearcey State Awards, the 2016 Pearcey Oration, and an extensive Australia 3.0 program.

The NSW Pearcey Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were presented in a packed NSW Parliament House on Tuesday 18th October at NSW Parliament House, at 5.30pm by the Hon Victor Dominello, NSW Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation. The overall winner, was Richard White, Founder and CEO of WiseTechGlobal with Hall of Fame Awards going to the founders of Avoka, Digivizer, Expert360, Invoice2Go, Saasu, Sentral Education, Showpo, Tyro and WiseTech Global.
Pearcey was proud to host a series of events as part of the Digital Innovation Festival Victoria www.vic.gov.au/digitalinnovation. These events (2-6 September 2016) included a Pearcey Institute breakfast, Melbourne's Digital Changemakers panel and the 2016 Pearcey Oration.
