Pearcey Medals for Lifetime Achievement
The Pearcey Medal is a prestigious annual individual award that recognizes a distinguished lifetime achievement and contribution to the development and growth of the ICT industry in Australia.
2021 Pearcey Medal, Hall of Fame and National Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were presented on Wednesday 24 November 2021 as a Zoom event due to the Covid situation. The 2021 Pearcey Medal was presented to David Thodey AO recently retired Chairman of CSIRO, one of many distinguished public and private roles he performed during his extensive career in the Australian New Zealand ICT sector. The two eminent Australians also elevated to the Pearcey Hall of Fame were Alan Noble, a distinguished researcher and entrepreneur both in Australia as well as in the US, and Judy Hammond, distinguished educator and academic over her lifetime in the ICT sector.
