Pearcey Medals for Lifetime Achievement
The Pearcey Medal is a prestigious annual individual award that recognizes a distinguished lifetime achievement and contribution to the development and growth of the ICT industry in Australia.
2020 Pearcey Medal, Hall of Fame and National Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were presented on Wednesday 25 November 2020 as a Zoom event due to the Covid situation. The 2020 Pearcey Medal was presented to Professor Jennifer Seberry, Emeritus Professor at the University of Wollongong where she made a distinguished contribution to computer security and mathematics in Australia. The two eminent Australians also elevated to the Pearcey Hall of Fame were Jeff Whittle AO of Whittle Mine Planning software fame and Owen Hill, creator of Australia's most popular PC, the MicroBee.
