60th Anniversary of CSIRAC
On 18 November 2009, the Pearcey Foundation, ACS Victoria Branch together with the Melbourne Museum, will celebrate the 60th anniversary of CSIRAC. It will commemorate:
- The 60th anniversary of the execution of the first stored program.
- The listing of CSIRAC on the Victorian Heritage Register (the first time that an object rather than a building is registered).
- The plans for the future of the CSIRAC display at the Melbourne Museum.
